Job Title:  Elementary School Resource Officer

Summary:

The School Resource Officer (SRO) is responsible for dealing with criminal law issues and for improving the safety and educational climate within the district.  The SRO is not responsible for enforcing school discipline or punishing students.

The individual who occupies this position will regularly work in a typical school building environment but may be occasionally required to work outside in inclement weather including rain, snow, as well as in temperatures below freezing or in excess of 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
